Getting the most out of mobile
Log the match in the car park
Immediately after the final whistle, before you drive home. Details are fresh, you know whether you were paid, and you have the venue address to hand for mileage.
Use the LOTG quiz between observations
Waiting for a game to start? Run a quick 5-question session on whichever Law you're least confident about. Ten minutes of focused practice adds up.
Check for SAL and Fulltime fixtures on allocation day
Most leagues allocate on the same day each week. Open the app that day, tap to sync, and your upcoming fixtures are imported and waiting.
Set your home address for navigation
In Settings, enter your home address. The app then calculates mileage automatically when you enter a venue, and you can tap to open Waze or Google Maps from any fixture.

Where can I download the iOS app?
Search for "Penalty App" on the App Store, or visit apps.apple.com. The app is free to download and uses the same account as the web version — sign in with your existing penalty.app credentials.
Do I need a separate account for the mobile app?
No. The mobile app and the web version share the same account. Any match you log on your phone is immediately visible on the web, and vice versa.
Does the mobile app have all the same features as the web?
Yes — the iOS app includes all the same features: match logging, payment tracking, the LOTG quiz, promotion tracking, expenses, reports, and all integrations (Fulltime, SAL, Refsix). Everything is synchronised in real time.
Is there an Android app?
The Android app is in development and coming soon. In the meantime, the web app works in any Android mobile browser — add it to your home screen from Chrome or Samsung Internet for a near-native experience.
Does the app work offline?
The app requires an internet connection to sync your data. If you lose signal during a match, wait until you're back online before logging — the form will save locally until you submit.
Can I add penalty.app to my home screen without the App Store?
Yes. On iPhone, open penalty.app in Safari, tap the Share button, and choose 'Add to Home Screen'. This creates a shortcut that opens in full-screen mode without the browser toolbar, giving a near-native feel.
